Sentinel Performance

It’s March Madness, gang!! Even as this blog is being written, there are upsets happening left and right! Low-seeds are taking down top-seeds almost as automatically as the Packers take down the Bears twice every year :). But, what does that have to do with exercise? We are so glad you asked.

When we first engage with people about working out, a lot of people give us reasons for why they shouldn’t embark on a fitness journey. For instance, most people will say “It will take too long to get to where I want to be, so I might as well not even start.” Or, “I need to get in shape before I start working out again.” Regardless of the excuse, the crux of the issue lies in the fact that most people (if not ALL people) have a fundamental fear of achieving the greatness they were designed to achieve! This does not have to be the case!

We were all given the responsibility to effect the world in a positive way, given the skill set with which we have to use. That said, it is our duty to do all that we can to improve ourselves in every capacity (ie emotionally, spiritually and physically) in order to make this world a better place. Therefore, the world requires us “everyday people” to rise to the occasion, and do what we can to improve the world; we need to be “everyday superheros”; we need to understand that we are all the “underdog” waiting to have our moment to make an impact; and when that moment comes, our physical body needs to be prepared to do what’s necessary!
